Cat Power DVD "Speaking for Trees: A Film by Mark Borthwick."

キャット・パワーのDVDが出たので早速見てみました。撮影は写真家のMark Borthwickという人だそうです。
"the project is largely made up of a two-hour Cat Power solo performance in the middle of a forest, capturing all the ambient sounds of the outdoor setting"とbillboard.comにあった通りで、顔もはっきりわからない距離で歌う彼女を2時間近くほぼ固定のカメラで追っています。しゃべりもなしで、環境映像としてかけるのはいいかもしれませんが、ライブDVDを期待して見るとがっかりでしょう。
未発表曲CDのほうはまだ聴いていませんが、楽しみ。
